Kingsbarn's special edition for the year 2021 - a Cuvée of exBourbon and exSherry Casks.
Named after an unusually shaped rock not far from the distillery, the Kingsbarns Bell Rock shows this classic barrel combination in a perfect way, wonderfully creamy and elegant.
Named after an unusually shaped rock not far from the distillery, the Kingsbarns Bell Rock shows this classic barrel combination in a perfect way, wonderfully creamy and elegant.
The barrels for Bell Rock all come from the first year of production, making it the oldest Kingsbarns single malt bottled to date.
The recipe consists of 30% exBourbon- and 70% exSherry-Casks, bottled with an alcohol content of 46%vol. and as always in natural colors and without chill-filtration.
Just 2,208 bottles were filled, almost a quarter of them came to Germany.
Aroma: toffee apples , Rum and raisins, then ice cream with white chocolate and raspberries
Taste: light, pleasant mouthfeel - crunchy red apples with notes of apricot biscuits
finish: the sweetness lasts a long time - caramel and pecan cake are present, along with spicy oak
