The Single Malt distilled from peated barley malt owes its delicious fruit component to the Andalusian Cask.
The summer dram for fans of smoky Islay Whiskys unfolds - neither chilled-filtered nor colored - at higher drinking strength with an alcohol content of 58.9%vol.
Nose: intense aromas of sweet berry compote, with plums, dates and figs
Taste: full, almost oily mouthfeel - ripe, black cherries and ripe berries, plus spicy notes - above all, damp canvas soiled with tar
Finish: long and soft with notes of strongly roasted coffee and burnt caramel
