Anyone who has recently followed the rum world carefully will be reminded of the name Worthy Park did not come by regardless.
Worthy Park Estate, which is steeped in tradition and run by the Clark family, is nestled in the Lluidas Valley in the interior of Jamaica.
Sugar cane has been grown here since 1720 - rum has been produced since 1741.
This is Worthy Park not only the oldest still active distillery, but also the only remaining single estate producer in Jamaica.
Because this is the only place where rum is still produced 100 percent from in-house molasses.
Fermented and distilled in a pure copper pot still from Forsyths with a total capacity of 18,000 liters.

New to the Worthy Park family since May 2021 is the "109" - a three-year rum with a strong 54.5%vol. Alcohol content brings a good portion of "high ester" with it.
The dark filling is just as suitable for pure enjoyment as delicious cocktails.
The recognition value in the nose and palate typical for Worthy Park Estate: fruity bananas with fresh, green and spicy notes.
