Product information "GlenAllachie 12 year old Sauternes Wine Cask Finish 48%vol. 0,7l"
They come out Italy, France and Spain add complexity and are the central building blocks of a new series from the GlenAllachie distillery: Barrique wine barrels.
For almost two additional years of maturation, the barrels selected by Billy Walker formed the wooden home for the single malt Whisky that initially matured in bourbon barrels.
Now, in June 2021, the first three bottlings of the new Wine Cask Series are available - and promise diverse perspectives on classic GlenAllachie Speyside Scotch Whisky.

For additional depth and charm for 12-year-old Wine Cask GlenAllachie provide Sauternes barrels made from French oak.
Pre-loaded with the dessert wine from southwest France, they give the Speyside whiskey fresh and tangy fruit notes.

Nose: Waves of heather honey, peach and grapefruit with hints of cinnamon and almonds
Taste: heather honey, treacle and pineapple with peaches, sweet grapefruit and cinnamon
