In Ireland it is said that when a writer cries, tears flow from pure whiskey.
What could be more natural than to "hide" these whiskeys in a book - and so this gift box is designed like a book and can be opened in such a way, in the book you can then "find" the three small miniatures of the Pot Still Blended Whiskey.
Writers Tears - Irish Pot Still Blend 40% vol. 0.05l
Nose: soft with sweet aromas of honey, served with warm roasted toast and notes of citrus fruits
Taste: soft and creamy - now more and more honey - soft notes of vanilla and malt, becoming fruity, with caramel and a little oak
Finish: long, warm finish with a slight sweetness
Writers Tears Double Oak 46% vol. 0.05l
Nose: aromas of sweet vanilla, with ripe plums and pear compote with cinnamon
Taste: soft and mild in taste with intense notes of fresh, ripe grapes, then citrus fruits and again a slight hint of vanilla
Finish: surprisingly spicy in the finish, the fruits take a back seat and make room for dark chocolate
Writers Tears Cask Strength 53% vol. 0.05l
Nose: elegant aromas of dark chocolate and strong, black blackberries - behind them ripe summer fruits and sweet barley
Taste: Traces of butterscotch with complex notes of heavily toasted wood and creamy oak
