Springbank's first bottling of a 12-year-old Single Malt Whisky in 2021 - bottled at cask strength. This 12-year-old Single Malt Whisky contains 50% ex-Sherry cask matured Malts and 50% ex-Bourbon Cask matured Malt Whiskys.
Nose: at the beginning typical Springbank - earthy and maritime aromas, traces of ground black pepper, dried pineapple behind it
Taste: oily and creamy - sweet notes paired with salty tones - noticeably vanilla, fudge and Caramel - above all tones of sea salt, vanilla pudding and honeycomb Finish: gentle peat smoke and maritime hints, freshly baked pretzels, again the vanilla, with fresh orange peel
