Kilchoman's spring bottling of the year 2021 - The Pedro Ximénez Sherry Cask is a vatting made of 33 Casks - nine Casks held the single malt whisky over the entire maturation period, 24 Casks were used for a finish between 12 and 18 months.
Nose: plums, sultanas and spicy heather - above all peat smoke, fresh coffee, some sea air and aromas of citrus fruits
Taste: warming and mouth-filling in taste - dark berries, caramelized brown sugar and tobacco leaves - followed by notes of liquorice and British fruit cake with soft spices - above all the peat smoke
Finish: full and round finish with wonderfully pronounced notes of sherry, summer berries and dried spices
