The Kopke Colheita Port comes from the house of C. N. Kopke, the oldest port wine house in Portugal, and is a unique vintage wine with its own history.
Each Colheita Port comes from the finest grapes from a single vintage.
The grapes for this high-quality, mature Kopke Port wine are harvested at the best possible time, gently mashed with the feet and gently macerated in large stainless steel vats to preserve colour, tannins and aromas. A grape brandy is then added to the spirit to produce the final port wine.
The nose offers a complex bouquet of dried fruits and persistent notes of spices.
Sophisticated and delicate with a good structure and balanced acidity on the palate, it ensures a long and persistent finish with a pleasantly velvety smoothness in the mouth.
It unfolds its full finesse and sophistication particularly when you enjoy it with desserts made from caramel, dried fruit and spices, but also with a tarte tatin, crème brulée or medium-strong cheese.
