The single malt whisky from this noble single cask bottling is a proud 22 years old.
Distilled on October 17th, 1996 at GlenAllachie, Scotland's Speyside distillery, the single malt whisky was aged for over 22 years in Hogshead #5271, then independent bottler Signatory filled the cask to just 291 bottles on February 15th, 2019 in the Cask Strength Collection away.
Nose: clearly vanilla and roasted nuts, plus cinnamon and some oak
Taste: Soft and oily - sweet apples and toffee, followed by the nuts again
Finish: full and full on the finish with slightly earthy notes and some smoke
