An elegant Speyside single malt whisky from the Benrinnes distillery - distilled 28th October 1996, the two casks #11723 and #11737 were aged for over 24 years, then independent bottler Signatory married the single malt of the two Hogsheads and bottled the single malt whisky to 538 bottles in the Cask Strength Collection on March 12th, 2021.
Nose: initially sweet, ripe fruit, mainly apricots and mangoes - afterwards toffee and light spicy tones
Taste: mouth-filling and complex - again the sweet fruits, then soft butterscotch and fudge come to the fore.
Finish: long-lasting finish with a pleasant fruitiness - above all slightly spicy notes
