This Single Malt Whisky matured at Glenfarclas in former Oloroso Sherry Butts for nine years - stored in the old Cask Cellar of the distillery in Speyside, Scotland.
Nose: full and rich in aromas with an excellent balance, the aromas develop slowly, especially sherry sweetness and malt - then fresh gingerbread and light aromas of dark chocolate, luscious fruit cake with lots of raisins - above all a soft spiciness
Taste: soft, almost creamy in taste with soft, spicy notes of cardamom, aniseed and cloves, then again the ripe fruits and raisins - there is a warm, soft honey tone over everything
Finish: long, warming finish - very soft again the spicy tones and the sweet sherry
