Who still loves it, the spicy scent that comes in during autumnal walks is in the air?
The Autumn Edition from Port Askaig captures it wonderfully.
In addition to spicy bacon and fruity cheese notes, the rich aroma of cherry liqueur, salty and tart and sweet notes of flamed tomatoes set the mood for autumn enjoyment.
As for the gateway to the island of Islay, this limited bottling is also a homage to the unique flavors of Islay - more precisely, a mysterious distillery on the northeast coast of the island near the village of Port Askaig.
The single malt whisky matured in a selection near the coast of nine refill hogsheads from American oak, five Oloroso Sherry Butts and three American Oak Solera Sherry Butts.
The non-chill-filtered whisky brings its distinctive Islay character to an alcohol content of 45.8%vol. to the full.
