Exclusive Bottling for Germany!
The word Cuvée actually comes from the world of winegrowers. Derived from the word "cuve" for Cask or tank, it describes the marriage of different wines that are bottled under a label. Why?
The process enables winemakers to combine the properties and aromas of certain wine-growing regions or grape varieties into a delicious balance.
A process that requires great sensitivity - in both wine and whisky production.

For the sensitive selection and combination of the barrels for GlenAllachie's first cuvée, Cask talent Billy Walker is exactly the right person.
The single malt whisky, bottled exclusively for Germany, initially matured in barrels made of American oak.
For one For an additional, aromatic maturation process, Billy Walker carefully selected barrels from the French wine region Burgundy filled with Pinot Noir - and finally married the single malt with single malt whisky, which was matured in intense Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheons.

The result: a varied single malt cuvée with extensive taste components of mocha to ripe grapes.
The Casks filled with red wine give the whisky in a warm mahogany tone complexity and silky tannins.
The sherry puncheons, on the other hand, provide soft sweetness and create depth.
