You get it in a small bag For the 10-year old Talisker four soapstones in the shape of a cube - the perfect substitute for ice cubes!
Soapstone maintains temperatures for a very long time, the stones do not absorb any liquid or give off any taste - and most importantly! - compared to ice cubes, they don't water down the drink!
Talisker Skye matured in carefully selected, partly newly burnt barrels made of American oak.
The single malt whisky has an easily accessible taste with the well-known characteristics of the distillery from the Scottish Hebrides - smoky and sweet with a spicy note. Soapstone maintains temperatures for a very long time, the stones do not absorb any liquid or give off any taste - and most importantly! - compared to ice cubes, they don't water down the drink!

Nose: fresh oranges and mango, with slightly peppery and earthy - traces of sea salt and smoke
Taste: initially soft and sweet with very light smoke, then salted caramel and BBQ ribs coated with honey, followed by a sharp spiciness - now more smoke
Finish: long and warming, with the typical distiller pepper note and traces of sweet smoke
