This single grain whisky from the Scottish Port Dundas distillery is proud forty years old.
Distilled in January 1978, this single grain whisky matured for over 40 years, then the Hogshead refill was bottled in December 2018 to just 92 bottles.
Nose: freshly baked ginger biscuits with golden syrup, with melted butter and polished wood
Taste: mouth-filling, almost oily in taste - reminiscent of fresh crumble cake with apples, with notes of flapjacks and lemon cake
Finish: medium-long finish with ripe barley and Scottish heather honey
