The first batch of Kinahan's Kasc Project - Malt and Grain Blended Whiskey matures in barrels made of five different types of wood - American Oak, French Oak, Hungarian Oak, Chestnut and Portuguese Oak.
Nose: ripe fruits, especially pears and plums, plus tropical fruit and spicy caramel
Taste: again the tropical fruits and the caramel, joined by notes of chocolate, vanilla and roasted oak - in the background sweet notes of ripe figs and juicy Raisins
Finish: medium finish with fruity and slightly spicy tones
