Kilchoman selected 39 ex-Bourbon Barrels and 2 exOloroso-Sherry Butts for this limited edition Vatting - all of them included fresh distillate filled between 2007, 2009 and 2010.
A peaty single malt whisky with a medium phenol content of 20ppm.
Nose: fresh with floral aromas, plus an elegant citrus sweetness, then ripe apricots, meadow herbs and only slight hints of peat smoke

Taste: fresh lemon tartlets and lots of vanilla, followed by notes of tropical fruits, plum compote and maple syrup - in the background sea salt, peat and smoke
Outturn: 12,400 bottles
Finish: long-lasting finish - oily and intense - now clearly the peat smoke
