The Blandy family has been synonymous with Madeira wines of the highest quality for 200 years and founded together with various producers on the remote island in the Atlantic, Madeira Wine Company in 1913.
A joint venture with the Symington family followed, a strong partner, very well known in the port wine industry, in 1989. That was the foundation stone laid for further investments in the vineyards, in the press technology and at the headquarters die guarantee the production of wines of the highest quality.

This Blandy's Madeira Reserva matured five years in old American oak barrels and is a fine blend of the grape varieties Bual and Malvasia, which is presented in a beautiful hazelnut color.

A rich, aromatic, sweet Madeira, the nose and palate with distinct aromas of nuts, dried fruits, raisins, toffee and spices beguiling - fresh and crisp.
Its finish is long-lasting with notes of honey and spices.

It is ideal for desserts, cheese and cakes.

Hier tu ich mich schon wesentlich schwerer eine Beschreibung ab zu geben, gekauft habe ich ihn um selber zu erleben wie ein Madeira so schmeckt und was so ein Fass mit einem Whisky anstellen kann. Ich finde ihn sehr aromatisch und irgendwie mit einem Nussaroma versehen, wobei auch fruchtige Noten vorhanden sind. Er macht einen lebendigen, frischen Eindruck, aber ich bin da eher nicht so versiert, zu wenig Erfahrung mit anderen Madeira oder ähnlichen Getränken.
