Bottled from the best fresh Kentucky Bourbon Barrels, of course without chill filtration and without additional Dyes, this Cask Islay comes in natural Cask Strength - mouthfilling, intense and rich in aromas with a perfect balance of sweet-creamy wood notes and fine, warm fireplace smoke tones.
Nose: to start with salty peanuts and grilled crab skewer - then aromas of whipped cream cake and a fresh Islay breeze in the background
Taste: Smoke and almond brittle are now present, plus pink grapefruit and sweet maple syrup
Finish: roasted crabs, some balsamic vinegar and a lot of warm smoke
