After the Rogues' Banquet, the Hedonism Felicitas is the second anniversary bottling.
Limited to 2,226 bottles, this exclusive Blended Grain Scotch Whisky was bottled in July 2020.
Compass Box is now in the third decade of its success story after 20 years, so it was only appropriate that the Hedonism Felicitas combines three Grain Whiskys from three decades.
The lion's share of these three whiskeys is held by the Strathclyde distillery, which is rarely found at Compass Box.
The Strathclyde used was distilled in the 1980s, it has a distinct note of vanilla cream and orchard.
The distillery in second place in terms of percentage is the closed Port Dundas distillery, distilled in 2001, the grain whiskey in this bottling delivers spices, toffee, honey and sweet wood.
All good things come in threes and so the North British distillery follows with whiskey from the 1990s - this delivers passion fruit, cardamom and coconut.
Compass Box decided to use this Blended Grain Whisky with an alcohol content of 53% vol. bottling to focus its luscious depths.
The disarming gentleness that matured Grain Whisky brings is fully preserved despite the alcohol content.

38.4% Single Grain Whisky from the Port Dundas Distillery, stored in first fill Bourbon Barrels
