Kopke is the oldest port wine house - every wine in this house tells a story.

The grapes for Kopkes Colheitas are harvested and destemmed by hand at the optimum time, then pressed and processed.

The wine is carefully macerated to extract the colour, tannins and aromas, which are enhanced by constant stirring during fermentation - this is done in barrels (lagares) at a controlled temperature between 28-30 degrees Celsius until the desired level of sweetness (baumé) is reached is.

At this point pomace brandy is then added to make the final fortified wine.

The result is a high quality wine made from a single harvest.

A Colheita wine ages in oak barrels, never less than seven years.

The port wine is then bottled.

The Kopke 2008 White Colheita shines with a golden color.

Nose: delicate honey aromas and hints of candied orange peel, vanilla and dried apricots

Palate: a charming wine in the mouth that mixes refined notes of fruit and barrel aging, making this a seductive and intense wine

Finish: an elegant and seductive finish with lingering refreshing acidity
