Product information "Kopke Tawny 20 year old 20%vol. 0,75l"
Kopke is the oldest port wine house - every wine in this house tells a story.
Harvested by hand at the optimum moment, the grapes are destemmed, crushed and carefully macerated, with constant stirring during fermentation in stainless steel tanks to enhance aromas.
The fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius until the right degree of sweetness (Baumé) is reached.
Grape pomace is then added to make the final port wine.

Wines from different harvests are blended with different degrees of maturity in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels for at least three years, the result is a rich and aromatic port wine with perfect sweetness.

The Kopke Tawny 20 Years has a delicate orange-green colour.

Nose: its magnificent nose is a complex combination of dried fruits and spices, along with aromas of noble wood
Palate: on the palate, its notes are rich and concentrated
Finish: long, velvety soft finish

The Kopke Tawny 20 Years is irresistible with a starter of foie gras with eggplant and walnuts.
The Kopke Tawny 20 Years Old is a great choice for an endless array of desserts such as toffee brownies, chocolate pistachio pavé or walnut crostini with chèvre.
The best way to enjoy Der Kopke Tawny 20 Years is at a temperature between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius
