The cask strength version of the Mountain Edition!
In 2015, Slyr's Master Distiller Hans Kemeter selected fifty barrels of fresh distillate and transported them by ski lift to the summit of Wendelstein Mountain at 1,838 meters.
Up here is the altitude warehouse of the Slyrs distillery - the Mountain Edition matured there for over five years - the pure mountain air and the extreme temperature fluctuations of up to 60 degrees characterize this special location and are reflected in the single malt whisky.
Limited edition with a circulation of 1.838 bottles (one bottle for each meter of height) with individual numbering

Nose: strong spiciness with a subtle smoky note, combined with a caramel-nutty character and intense bourbon vanilla
Taste: extraordinarily complex with voluminous strength, spicy notes such as pepper and nutmeg present, with roasted almonds and lots of nuts
Finish: slightly smoky with sweet-fruity tones - long lasting
