Aberlour's 65th batch of the coveted a'bunadh (gaelic: "from the origin").
For this bottling, Spanish exOloroso sherry casks are selected and left untreated - ie without colorings and without cold filtration, in Cask strength - just "from the origin".
Nose: intense spicy aromas, paired with sweet sherry, juicy oranges and the scent of fresh chocolates
Taste: soft and creamy in the taste with clear notes of oranges, black cherries and dried fruits, plus an elegant ginger note and dark dark chocolate - over all sherry and spicy oak
Finish: robust and intense on the finish, with bittersweet notes of exotic spices, again the chocolate and the oak

Ein ganz besonderes Tröpfchen für besondere Stunden zum genießen. Auch wenn er in Fassstärke daher kommt gut zu trinken ohne großes brennen. Sehr kräftige Aromen. Besonders schön ist die Wachsversiegelung des Korkens. Wunderschön um einen besonderen zu zelebrieren.
