Cape Fynbos Gin remains true to its roots and is distilled in collaboration with the Wilderer Distillery in Paarl finest white spirits in small editions of forty liters each.
The new one Citrus Edition is based on the same botanical composition as the classic Cape Fynbos Gin.
In addition, the skins of five different citrus fruits are soaked in pure gin for almost two weeks before the filtration and the subsequent gradual mixing with Franschhoek mountain water.
Many of the 30 carefully selected botanicals belong to the group of fynbos plants for which the region is famous worldwide.
Before distillation, the botanicals are macerated in basic alcohol in order to achieve an optimal combination of the plant aromas.
The gradual mixing with pure spring water from the granite massif leads to an absolutely unique gin of the highest quality.
Deep and complex herbs Roms with hints of orange essence, cloves and white pepper, honey and wild fynbos lie over an unimaginably soft palate and make this gin a real treasure.
