The Scottish Speyside distillery Glendullan produces a wonderfully luscious single malt whisky, which is the perfect culmination of a good meal!
Unfortunately, this whiskey is bottled far too rarely.
Signatory chose the two Hogsheads #319299 & #319309.
Distilled on November 30th, 2007, the single malt whisky was aged for over 13 years, then the casks were married and bottled in the Un-chillfiltered Collection on December 14th, 2020.
Nose: clearly pear, flowery aromas and malt
Taste: very fruity, especially apple, plus toffee and notes of wheat pastry
Finish: peppery and spicy on the finish with a hint of honey
