Bruichladdich's heavily peated Octomore - filled with a phenol content of 96.9 ppm.

Nose: first slightly fruity with aromas of pineapple, papaya and mango, then strong peat smoke and charred oak
Taste: lush and intense in taste - almost oily - in addition to the fruit, immediately dry peat smoke and moist charcoal - in the background light notes of ripe citrus and winter spices
Finish: very long finish with surprisingly sweet tones of strong heather honey and ripe citrus fruits - with old leather and ground coffee
