Glendalough's Triple Barrel matured in three different Cask types - first in exBourbon Casks, then in exOloroso sherry Casks and then in Canteiro exMadeira Casks.
Nose: distinctly dark ripe fruits - especially plums and black cherries, with raisins and sultanas, behind them tropical fruits like papaya and pineapple - over all spicy oak wood
Taste: soft and mouth-filling - again the dark fruits, paired with soft vanilla, toffee and chocolate - then spicier with notes of coriander and white pepper
