A.D. Rattray has bottled a real "treat" here - even though the name of the Islay distillery can not be named, the peat and ash notes speak for themselves!
Distilled on December 11, 2008, the single malt whisky matured over ten years and was then bottled on September 27, 2019 to only 336 bottles.
Nose: moist seaweed, honey and intense roasted aromas - over all warm campfire ash
Taste: mouth-filling with lots of peat, with notes of juicy apples and lemon curd
Finish: long finish with notes of burning cigars with notes of citrus fruits
