Distilled in the Slyrs distillery, matured on the cutter "The Angel's Share" in the port of List on the island of Sylt.
The whisky was distilled with Sylt barley and after maturation under sea climate with Sylter spring water to drinking strength with 48%vol. Alcohol content reduced.
Nose: smoky-leathery aromas, a touch of vanilla and malt with sea salt, iodine and seaweed - spicy tones of white pepper develop in the background
Taste: creamy soft and very nicely rounded, now clear sea salt and iodine - a lot of malt and a tangy-spicy note
Finish: long and warming on the finish

Für einen so jungen Whisky extrem gut, variantenreicher Geschmack, schöner Abgang, besser als vergleichbarer Slyrs-Whisky
