The second heavily peated bottling from the Glengyle distillery - filled in Cask strength with an exBourbon Cask portion of 55% and an exSherry Cask portion of 45%.
Nose: fresh citrus fruit and vanilla cheesecake, served with rhubarb with vanilla pudding - over all delicate peat smoke
Taste: freshly baked apple pie with sweet-salty caramel - again the peat smoke and salty sea air
Finish : long and creamy finish with notes of roasted oak, with notes of freshly sharpened pencils - sweet and fruity with lots peat smoke
