A 31-year-old single grain whisky from a former Sherry Butt from the Scottish Invergordon distillery, bottled by independent bottler Wemyss to only 618 bottles in 2019.
Nose: fresh and spicy with aromas of apple, pear and banana - accompanied by the roasted aroma of ground coffee
Taste: sweet, heavy and luscious - reminiscent of an old rum - initially sweet with biscuit toffee, honey and maple syrup Finish: becoming darker in the finish with rum-raisins, dried fruits, especially figs and distinctly spicy tobacco leaves Single Cask Bottling - Outturn 618 Bottles
