Even if that's more or less the well-known song sings a Beer Barrel, that's how it fits in with this year's edition of the Big Peat Christmas!
The popular Big Peat is rolling the barrels out of the Christmas-decorated warehouse this year - and that with heavy snow!
Bottled in Cask Strength as usual, this time at 53.7%vol. - and of course without cold filtration and without dyes!
Nose: intense aromas of warm ashes of a campfire on the sandy beach, lots of sea air and spray - all over tar and peat smoke
Taste: in the foreground now seaweed, peat and old leather - some boat varnish and warm tar, plus campfire smoke and gauze bandages
Finish: long and warming on the finish with clear notes of damp peat , Peat smoke and iodine - behind it again the old leather and the sea
