The ninth bottling of the 100% Islay edition of Kilchoman. Kilchoman chose 43 first-fill exBourbon barrels for this limited Vatting - all filled with fresh distillate between the two Years 2007 and 2009.
A peaty Single Malt Whisky with a moderate phenol content of 20ppm.
Nose: fresh with floral aromas and elegant citrus sweetness, then ripe apricots , meadow herbs and only slight hints of peat smoke

Taste: fresh lemon tart and a lot of vanilla, followed by notes of tropical fruits, plum compote and maple syrup - in the background sea salt, peat and smoke
Finish: lingering finish - oily and intense - now clearly the peat smoke
