Springbank's first bottling of a 15 year old single malt whisky in Cask Strength! Distilled in December 2003, the single malt whisky without exception matured in former rum barrels and was bottled in August 2019 in Cask Strength with an alcohol content of 51%vol. to 9,000 bottles.
Nose: intense aromas of coconut, pineapple and bananas - then roasted marshmallows and toffee pudding - a slight peat note above all Taste: again the sweet fruit in the taste - velvety soft with rich notes of luscious desserts like creme brulee and sweet fruit salad - toffee apples and pecan cake - light earthy notes on the background Finish: the notes are now earthy, surprisingly dry on the finish
