Berry Brothers single-cask bottling of this blended malt scotch whisky is exclusive to Germany.
The name Westport hides a blended malt whisky, mainly from a malt whisky of a distillery near the Scottish village Tain.
The malt is mixed with only a tiny amount of another malt whisky from a distillery in Morayshire, Scotland.
After the blending of the two malt whiskys, they were ripened in an exShustov brandy barrel.
Nose: Citrus fruits and aromas of glazed fruits - slightly spicy hints in the background
Taste: again the fruits, in addition now toffee and caramel - over all a slight smoky note
Finish: long and balanced on the finish - fruity with hints of Butterscotch
