Exclusively for Germany is this fruity Single Cask Bottling of the young Cotswolds distillery from England.
An exPedro Ximénez Sherry Butt, distilled on 13th March 2015, bottled in cask strength on 672 bottles on June 12, 2019.
Nose: clearly the sherry keg! dark ripe cherries, plums and raisins, with blackcurrants, brown cane sugar and freshly ground coffee - some spices in the background
Taste: again the dark fruits, dried figs and dates - then develop notes of dark chocolate and chocolate-covered gingerbread - then again spicy with notes of cardamom, cinnamon and oak wood
Finish: long, sweet finish with lots of fruit and notes of roasted oak and freshly baked bread
