A 4-year-old, heavily-drunk single malt whisky from the Scottish Islay, matured in a butt and three hogsheads.
Despite his young age this bunnahabhain knows how to convince Staoisha. A Refill Butt and especially the three Decharred/Recharred Hogsheads (also called Alligator Casks) make for a distinctive character! Decharred/Recharred means nothing else than that the used hogsheads are first planed from the inside and then again strongly burnt out before being filled.
