Limited bottling from the renowned Ardbeg distillery on Islay.
The single malt whiskey initially stored in exBourbon barrels, then it was given a finish in former rum barrels from Latin America.
Aroma: clearly peat smoke and strong aromas of softwood, then sweeter with aromas of ripe pineapple and bananas - behind tree resin and damp forest soil
Taste: now more clearly the tropical fruits, again pineapple and banana, accompanied by mango and papaya - some vanilla and strong notes of licorice, paired with dark chocolate - a clear smoky note above all
Finish: the fruit recede and make room for peat, damp ash and bandages
