This elegant rum from Antigua first matured for five years in former bourbon barrels, then matured for three to six months in exMadeira wine barrels by the prestigious Blandy's Wine Company.
Aroma: distinctly nutty aromas - especially hazelnuts and walnuts, with some marzipan and ripe citrus fruits - spicy hints in the background
Taste: again the marzipan, followed by rich notes of light chocolate almonds, in addition to the citrus fruits and nuts
Finish: medium finish - the nuts step into the background, now the fruits, and spicy notes
