The two hogsheads # 702715 & # 702716 matured for ten years filled with fresh distillate from the Scottish Highland distillery Teaninich, then the independent bottler Signator ydie barrels filled in the popular Un-Chillfiltered Collection on March 05, 2018.
Aroma: red, ripe apples, then and more and more spicy aromas - clearly, cardamom and anise, followed by nutty hints, paired with spicy oak
Taste: apples again, with freshly baked bread and apple pie with cinnamon and nuts, served with vanilla sauce
Departure: long and sweet on the finish - the apples remain present for a long time - the fresh apples slowly become apple compote with soft-spicy tones
