The 26-year-old Platinum Edition of the Big Peat follows the 25-year Gold Edition from 2017.
Without exception, the barrels used were distilled in 1992. Douglas Laing created a 26-year-old Big Peat and filled it into cask strength with an alcohol content of 51.5% vol. on only 3,000 bottles.
The bottles are numbered individually.

Aroma: smoky with distinct aromas of grilled meat over open coal fire
Taste: salty and sweet notes in the taste, then coal dust and a lot of peat
Finish: very long finish with a lot of smoke and peat
