This is only the second bottling of this kind available outside Campbeltowns!
Distilled in 2003, this peated single malt whiskey first matured in classic exBourbon barrels and then received a finish in former Demerara Guyana rum barrels.
Aroma: fresh sea air and sweet medicinal phenols, with vanilla and molasses
Taste: molten brown cane sugar, then fruity with notes of pineapple, green apples and ripe lime - above all an elegant smoky note
Finish: a long, dry finish - now more evident the peat smoke, with hints of cinnamon and fresh ginger
