Machrie Moor is the name of an old moor on the west coast of the island of Arran, the bare and gently rolling landscape is full of stone circles and Hinkelsteinen from the Bronze Age.
Legend has it that the legend king Fingal tied his favorite dog Bran to one of these stones.

Aroma: strong aromas of woody smoke, clearly peat and fresh pineapple, then pear and the Arran-typical lime
Taste: with some water very nice fruity notes, clearly strawberry jam on freshly baked bread - in the background peat smoke
Finish: vanilla finish and maritime notes
