Two exBourbon barrels were selected by the independent bottler Signatory for this bottling of a 10-year-old Strathisla from Speyside, Scotland.
Distilled on September 3, 2008, barrels # 800123 and # 800124 matured for over ten years, then the barrels were married and bottled in the Un-Chillfiltered Collection on February 27, 2019.
Aroma: light and soft in the aroma with clearly vanilla, barley and malt - behind it toffee and slightly fruity aromas of ripe fruit
Taste: again the fruit and the vanilla - then more mazige tones and citrus fruits - some oak
Finish: medium finish with balanced notes of toffee, fruit and oak
