The peaty Longrow from the House Springbank, the 2019er bottling has a very high sherry cask fraction with 75%.
Matured in 75% exSherry casks and 25% exBourbon barrels, bottled in 2019 at 4,800 bottles.

Aroma: oily aromas, with salted dried meat followed by spicy heather, Parma ham and smoked apple wood - cheddar in the background
Taste: dry in the taste with clear notes of lemon peel, clotted cream and licorice - above all the scent of an open cigar box
Finish: ripe, black cherries and ground pepper, with tones of old leather and roasted, salted nuts - moist campfire ash in the background

Tiefe und nicht zu süße Frucht, Beeren, Sauerkirschen, dazu der typische Springbank-Rauch, aber gut eingebunden und nicht kantik oder vordergründig (entgegen dem normalen Longrow peated). Kein billiger Tropfen aber sehr lecker und vielschichtig.
