This is only the second bottling of this kind available outside Campbeltowns!
Distilled in 2003, this peated single malt whiskey first matured in classic exBourbon barrels and then received a finish in former Demerara Guyana rum barrels.
Aroma: fresh sea air and sweet medicinal phenols, with vanilla and molasses
Taste: molten brown cane sugar, then fruity with notes of pineapple, green apples and ripe lime - above all an elegant smoky note
Finish: a long, dry finish - now more evident the peat smoke, with hints of cinnamon and fresh ginger

Wer Glen Scotia mag kann zum Campeltown Festival immer noch ein paar Special Releases abgreifen. Auch der hier ist sehr schön, viel süße, prickende Schärfe, Vanille, Karamell, ein bißchen Rauch. ein klasse Whisky.
