Glenmorangie's 10th edition of the Private Edition series bears the name Allta (Gaelic "wild").
For the distillation of this whiskey wild yeast was used, more precisely, the yeasts that grew on the barley used.
Bottled in barrel strength without cold filtration

Aroma: fresh pastries and freshly baked bread, with floral aromas, vanilla, raisins and ripe oranges
Taste: Citrus notes in the taste, then butterscotch, creamy vanilla and orange syrup - yeast, mint and sweet chilli notes in the background
Finish: in the finish long and earthy
