This 12-year-old single malt whiskey contains 70% ex-Sherry barrel aged malt and 30% ex-bourbon barrel aged malt whiskeys.
Aroma: fruity aromas of ripe cherries and apricot jam, followed by pistachios and freshly baked biscuits - above all salty caramel and marzipan
Taste: Sweet and delicate in the taste with clear notes of Scottish tablet fudge, plum and honey - the legendary Campbeltown salt tone lies above it, paired with a light, mouth-filling smoky note
Departure: a long, warm finish - soft hints of honeycomb, orange marmalade and licorice - then demerara sugar, almonds, pastries and again the plums
