Edradour 10 Year Old 2008/2018 "Straight from the Cask" Sherry Butt # 159 57.4% vol. 0.5l
For over ten years, this single malt whiskey matured in the small highland distillery Edradour in a former Sherry Butt, distilled on June 18, 2008, bottled with a very nice dark color on November 27, 2018 to only 1,007 bottles.
Like all bottlings of the "Straight from the Cask" series, of course, without cold filtration and no dyes!
Aroma: ripe, dark berries, with dark cherries, raisins and figs - a slightly spicy aroma over everything
Taste: soft and mouth-filling - again the dark fruits and raisins, then develop notes of forest honey, chocolate and toffee - above all floats an elegant light spiciness
Finish: long and pleasantly sweet on the finish, clearly the sherry and the chocolate
